Sharpe Products was a presenter at FABTECH® in Atlanta on Nov. 8. Our session - Custom Tube Bending and Tube Lasering: Getting it Right - was well attended by many industry professionals. Manufacturing engineer, Marshall Arndt, led the presentation, which covered the many aspects involved in this specialized type of fabrication. Access a video of the presentation here.
What did attendees learn? The session covered the techniques used in industrial tube and pipe bending and laser cutting. Information on equipment, manufacturing procedures, specification data, resources, raw materials and tooling was shared. This talk also included the methods and challenges of each discipline, from the initial project evaluation and set-up through delivery of the final product.
