Don't let other vendors fool you in thinking their bracket is the correct handrail bracket when it comes to the NFPA 5000 Code.
Sharpe Products manufactures and stocks a 1/4" Formed Bracket that is compliant with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 5000.
Below we have a few section of the Code that are specific to handrails and handrail brackets. A copy of the entire code can be viewed online or purchased at www.nfpa.org. In addition to consulting the code, it is still recommended that you check with the local municipalities to ensure compliance with the local codes and regulations.
