Some people believe that tube and pipe is primarily used for industrial purposes. While this is true, our custom formed tube has also been used in a variety of sculptures. One example is the globe structure outside of Watlow, north of Chicago. Several years ago they contacted us to help create a structural centerpiece for their corporate headquarters. 

"As the designer and welder of this artwork, I believe the result of the finished product is due to the accuracy of the rolled and coped parts produced by Sharpe Products. The individual parts were produced from piece part drawings, without any knowledge of the intended final assembly. Yet, when I assembled the parts into their final configuration, they seemed to fit together like puzzle pieces. The final part actually clicked into place; no adjustment was needed to any of the rolled tubing," states Rick Williams, Senior Engineer, Watlow .
